Stems vans left Fresno, California early in the morning carrying the precious decor for this outrageous surprise shin dig ready to set sails! Our designers boarded the airplane at the Fresno International Airport to meet the vans at the location in Marina Del Rey. All together Stems transformed a private yacht in one and a half hours into a floating four level party city that all guests were able to enjoy.
On the first level of the yacht guests were welcomed aboard to a photo op with lush floral decor of tropical foliages, papyrus, oriental lilies, dendrobium, cymbidium and phalaenopsis orchids and candles.
The dinner party was held on the second level of the yacht. This level was lit up by uplights in lavender and shades of blues to cool down the all black linen gourmet dinner buffet. Armenian appetizers were brought in from Carousel Restaurant in Glendale, California, followed by the yacht’s private chef savory cuisine. Guests were able to indulge in sweets with a 5 tier chocolate fountain flowed with decadent chocolate and mounds of dippers to enjoy. Metallic silver lounge furniture with illuminated coffee and end tables provided the perfect “posting point” to have front row seats for this sweet sensation. The black suit birthday cake paid homage to the guest of honor’s embarkment into law school and the “G” party theme.
Guests were able to have some more fun on level three! They danced the night away on a light up LED dance floor and played on the gaming tables that included: craps, roulette and black jack, complete with custom-made by RSVP Style “funny money” for betting. All while taking advantage of the open full bar and a nitrogen ice cream bar.
On level four was an open deck lit up with string lights and illuminated lanterns in white, gold, and silver. Placed around the deck were illuminated cocktail and coffee tables and black leather lounge furniture for seating. Guests were able to end their night with a perfect view for stargazing on the sea.
