Peaches and Cream

Event

DETAILS

Stems at The Palatine designed and coordinated the ceremony and reception for this 230 guest wedding at a private residence in Fresno, CA.

This dreamy peaches and cream glam wedding design began with the guest entry pathway lined with wrought iron shepherd hooks tied with extra wide double-faced satin ivory ribbon & garlands of Italian ruscus. The front door of this private home hung a heart-shaped wreath with fresh azaleas plotted on each side of the entryway.

The reception tables were draped in ivory shantung linens where guests were seated in gold chivalry chairs. They dined on heavy ripple glass gold rimmed chargers and beautiful gold edged stemware operetta with coordinating ivory shantung napkins folded in a dinner plate band-fold for a tailored garden party effect. The floral centerpieces are placed atop of golden saturn bowls, an exclusive in-house rental, filled with quintessential spring flowers in shades of coral, apricot & peach. The floral design included french parrot tulips, hydrangea, viburnum, sweet peas, japanese ranunculus, amsterdam & peach roses, queen annes lace, silver dollar eucalyptus and silver queen pittosporum.

The couple’s sweetheart table & cake table were draped in extra linen treatments of organza ruffle and beautiful chandeliers, anchored phantomly in trees surrounding the reception which lit the way all through the night. The cocktail tables were draped in ivory shantung linen cocktail ribbon belted at the base and tied with deflexus.

The guest pathway to the ceremony seating was created with over two dozen 3ft balloons with 8ft streamers of apricot & ivory satin ribbon. The couple’s family and friends enjoyed a bi-denominational ceremony. They were seated in gold chivari chairs placed in a rounded theater style setting surrounded by mature trees. The ceremony arch was the focal point – custom built chuppah draped in ivory organza, laced with fresh jasmine vines, iceberg roses, and fresh floral sprays of hydrangea french tulips.
